Data customers are provided
with an email account with mailbox size of 1 GB. Customers can access
their email accounts via an email client or a web-based interface.
To configure Outlook
- Open Outlook and click Tools\Services on the menu bar
- Click Add
- Click Internet E-mail in the Add Service to Profile box
- Click OK
- Fill up fields in the mail account Properties window:
- Under General tab, type a name e.g. "My Personal Email"
- Under User Information, type your name, organization, email
and reply email address
- Under Server tab, enter the following:
- Incoming Mail (POP3) - mailsvr.ie.net.my
- Outgoing Mail (SMTP) - mailsvr.ie.net.my
- Account Name - this is your chosen account username
- Password - password for the above account
To access web-based interface
- Go to mailsvr.ie.net.my
- Key in your username and password
- Click OK
