Please be advised that ieData customers may have experienced disruption to the service currently.  It is not a total interruption, but will impact data access, especially surfing speed. However, the matter is being look into by the technical team and we do hope to resolve the problem soon.  For customers who do P2P download, a temporary halt would be appreciated.

If you have further questions about the interruption please contact our customer service careline at 03-2330.2777 during office hours. (Monday to Friday 9am – 6pma and Saturday 9am – 1pm).

  2. Hi, how long more do you expect this interruption to go on? What is wrong anyway? Would appreciated if someone can let us know on a weekly basis what is going on rather than let us wait and wonder when the Internet is going to be okay again.

  3. Cannee, thanks for your kind feedback. We would like to apologise for the inconvenience you experienced. The problem was due to unsuspected blockage to our backhaul connectivity. We have since commissioned new link to overcome this problem. However, it takes time to optimise and to stabilise. We are looking at a week or two timeframe. Thank you once again for your patience and we will update all customers on a weekly basis at this community blog.
