With more an more homes setting up their own wireless routers, it is important to ensure that your home network is secure. There are a number of steps that can be taken:
- Enable encryption
- Change SSID name
- Disable SSID broadcast
- Enable MAC filtering
- Change password for web access
- Disable administrative access via web

- WEP
- WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access)
- WPA2
